Listing Duration Update & Owner Listings, Property Wanted Sunset

Listing Duration Update

Why are we changing the listing duration from 90 days to 60 days?

We analysed consumer search and browsing behaviour on our platform and found that most seekers engage with listings within the first 60 days. Shortening the listing duration ensures fresher, more relevant listings and helps you attract more serious buyers and tenants.

Will this affect my existing listings?

No. All listings posted or extended before 3 November 2025 will continue under the current 90-day duration until they expire. The new 60-day duration applies only to listings created or extended on/after 3 November 2025.

Will I lose my listings after 60 days?

Your listings will simply expire after 60 days instead of 90. You can easily extend them with your Listing Credit if the property is still available. This helps keep your listings fresh and relevant to seekers.

How will this impact my credits?

For any listing duration extension more than 60 days, your Listing Credits will deduct as usual following Dynamic Pricing rule.

What if my property takes longer than 60 days to sell or rent?

If your property is still available after 60 days, you can extend the listing anytime with your Listing Credits follow Dynamic Pricing rule. Refreshing listings often improves visibility, as seekers see them as new or recently updated.

Why align with PropertyGuru’s 60-day duration?

This update creates a consistent experience across both PropertyGuru & iProperty, making it easier for you to manage listings and campaigns across Malaysia’s two leading property marketplaces.

Do I need to take any action now?

No action is needed. The update will be applied automatically on 3 November 2025.

Owner Listings, Property Wanted Sunset

What’s changing?

From 30 September 2025, Owner Listings (FSBO) and Property Wanted will no longer be available on iProperty.

Why are these features being removed?

We’re simplifying iProperty to keep the experience focused on what matters most — connecting serious property seekers with agents through trusted, reliable listings.

What happens to my existing listings or requests?

All active Owner Listings and Property Wanted requests will be removed after 30 September 2025. Your regular listings and seeker leads are not affected.

How does this impact me as an agent?

There’s no change to your property listings or lead flow. We’ll continue focusing on generating quality leads and investing in tools that support your success.

What if I relied on these features for leads?

While a small number of agents may have used them, the majority of quality homeowner and seeker leads come through other channels on iProperty. We encourage you to continue focusing on your listings, which remain the best source of leads.
